Paragliding one day course
During this course, you can fly a paraglider on your own in a safe and easy way. Make several flights and learn the basic theory about paragliding and you will be prepared to continue a full course if you wish. The day begins early in the morning, we pick you up from your hotel and then we go to Cucuya, some sand dunes in Lurin located 40 minutes from Lima.
On this flying sight (Cucuya), the first introductory theoretical explanation is held, then we perform practical exercises on the ground to learn the techniques of equipping yourself and the takeoff and landing. Then you can apply this knowledge to make several flights on your own on an instruction glider, being continually monitored by radio by the instructor.
The height of these flights will grow gradually as you dominate the different techniques. On the first flight, you will rise only about 5 meters above the ground, while on the fourth flight, you may rise over 40 meters above the ground. Once Cucuya flights are finished, you have the option of taking a Tandem ride in Miraflores or Pachacamac.
