Paragliding in Pachacamac

Paragliding in Pachacamac. The Pachacamac Mountains are in Lurin, district located 35 kilometers to the south of Lima. This area is preferred by pilots and also by passengers. The mountains are between 400 and 600 meters high.

On this flight, we take advantage of the “thermals” that are strong and hot upcoming currents of air caused by temperature differences on the field. This kind of flight is characterized by being an active, exciting and with intense feelings, but at the same time, rewarding and contemplative because of the beautiful views from the valleys and mountains around.

The flight lasts 20 minutes, can reach heights of between 600 and 800 meters above the surface and fly several kilometers on huge mountains. It is possible to fly very early in the morning and throughout the day. During the winter, the mountains are covered in natural vegetation, so the landscape turns amazing. The great advantage of doing the flight in Pachacamac is that we do not depend on the wind. And we can fly there all the day, every day, during summer.
